This tutorial will take you through how to install AnyDesk on Fedora 36. AnyDesk is a closed-source remote desktop software that allows you to connect to PCs and other devices running the host application from anywhere globally.
How to Install AnyDesk on Fedora 36
We are going to install AnyDesk using two methods;
Install AnyDesk on Fedora 36 via GUI
- Navigate to the AnyDesk download page and select the Fedora option to download the package as shown below.
- After downloading it, double click it to install.
- Click the install button to proceed.
When the installation percentage reaches 100%, AnyDesk would have been installed on your machine.
- Launch AnyDesk from the application menu by searching it as shown below.
- Enter another AnyDesk ID you want to connect to or vice versa to initiate to access the remote computer.
Install AnyDesk on Fedora 36 via Repository
- Start by adding the AnyDesk repo to your system.

- Next, install libpangox using the following command to avoid the error nothing provides libpangox-1.0.so.0()(64bit) needed by anydesk-xxxxx.x86_64.
